These are examples of slide shows made primarily from static images. The animation (panning/zooming) along with background audio helps focus and set the theme of the day or event.
I have taken digital pictures for years and have particularly enjoyed creating website slide collections. Recording events of children for the 7 years while maintaining the fcc-oregon.org website was a joyful thing to do.
As an amateur photographer, the experience has helped me develop some skills that now seem to be in demand. My current digital camera is ideal for capturing both stills and video in a photojournalist style.
