On April 1, 2009, I attended a tribute to my brother Dale. It was the 24th anniversary of his death after a shortened life of service in Denver. Not only was it a fund-raiser for the Dale Tooley Cancer Research Lab, but also served as a forum to announce the new Dale Tooley Plaza at the Denver Justice Center. But most moving for me was the tribute from Colorado Governor Bill Ritter and the dozens of fun stories shared by Dale's former associates.
