My memories of being raised in the 1940's and early 1950's are those of a child. It was simple and free. Not a complicated time.
In a way, that was probably true. However with age comes an understanding that much below the surface was unseen. Today instant information from both traditional and uncensored sources makes me aware of almost too many things. Here's a sentimental tribute to the innocence of the time.
