Yesterday (Sunday, January 20th) was a feel-good hump day. There is now less than one year remaining of the disastrous Bush presidency.

As my wife and I are making plans to travel to Europe in a couple of months, we are pondering how to apologize to those we meet for the stupid actions made in the name of America.

I hope we can start to rebuild the moral and ethical reputation that America has lost because of the Bush years.
