6 families with Chinese daughters adopted in 1995 returned to China to experience and absorb their cultural identity.

Before we left, we asked our 10-year-old daughter what she was looking forward to on the trip. Her reply was
    1) Panda Bears
    2) Food
    3) Visiting her orphanage
When we returned, we asked her what she liked most about China. Her top three list was turned upside down.
    1) Visiting her orphanage
    2) Food
    1) Panda Bears
This segment focuses on images from their orphanage city of Jiande in southeast China.

You can play full screen with right mouse-click. Very cool. All popular browsers are supported, but you need to be using a Windows computer.

This 9½-minute video slide show is a 85MB file. It will take a moment to begin playing depending on your connection speed.

The complete video of the 16-day trip is 2.6GB in size, much too large to view or download from the Internet. However, you can view the individual images in a traditional manner at China Reunion Tour 2004.

For those interested in seeing the inside of the original Jiande Social Welfare Institute, those pictures are here.
