I had the pleasure of being a chaperone for 14 members of my daughter's Vivo choir when they went to Chicago for the Windy City Youth Choral Festival. Of course, I toted my camera along to capture some of the energy of these young teens in the big city.
For 5 days they played hard and worked hard with 8 other choirs from 7 states. On Saturday, all 340 singers performed a concert at Symphony Hall. I made a one-hour DVD of the trip which consists of a slide show for each of the 6 days, including a get-acquainted swim party before the trip. This is the first day, June 26. This 14-minute video is a 143MB flash file. It will take a moment to begin playing depending on your connection speed. To see the high-resolution or full-screen version requires a plugin called Photodex Presenter (pxplay). You may need to select "Manual Install". You can play full screen with right mouse-click. Very cool. All popular browsers are supported, but you need to be using a Windows computer. This 14-minute video slide show is a 250MB file. It will take a moment to begin playing depending on your connection speed. If you are interested in hearing the Vivo Choir singing and/or the entire Festival Choir in concert, visit the Podcast page. 14 songs have been posted there in MP3 format. Comments (0)
